Deborah Abell, MD

Originally from Fairport, Dr. Abell has been a board-certified pediatrician since 1999.  She graduated with high honors in Biology and English from Middlebury College,  attended medical school at the University of Vermont and stayed on for pediatrics training and chief residency.  Following her training, Dr. Abell joined a private practice in Northampton, Massachusetts where she worked for 8 years.  Two years ago, she moved back to Rochester with her husband, a physician at Penfield Family Medicine, and their two sons.  Since then, Dr. Abell has continued to practice pediatric medicine on the east side of town prior to joining Penfield Pediatrics.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
